In the lush green heart of Quindío, Colombia, where the mountains breathe mist and birdsong fills the air, a family story was born — one nurtured by hands, lived through seasons, and now ready to be savored by the world.
More than 50 years ago, Bernardo Pachón Garzón, our grandfather and a visionary farmer, began his journey by planting coffee and plantain on our ancestral land. His life was the land — waking up with the sun, caring for the soil like a family member, and building community through each harvest. Every bean and every fruit held the quiet strength of a legacy rooted in love and wisdom.
As time passed, challenges arrived. The land was divided, family members moved away, and modern life pulled many away from the fields. But we chose to return — not just to the land, but to our identity, purpose, and connection to nature.
This is how Cinco Cacao was born — a family farm where fine aroma cacao becomes the soul of a sensory and conscious experience. Here, chocolate is not just a product. It’s a story, a memory, and a celebration of regenerative agriculture, sustainable tourism, and the deep heritage of Colombian farming.

Cinco Cacao was born as a living tribute to our heritage and a dream deeply rooted in the soil of our ancestors. Nestled within the majestic Hacienda El Argel, just 700 meters from the colorful village of Barcelona, we rise to 1200 meters above sea level, where the heart of Colombia’s Coffee Cultural Landscape beats strong.
Here, at an average temperature of 24°C, our fine aroma cacao and coffee grow in perfect harmony with nature. Surrounded by vibrant biodiversity, our farm is an oasis of peace, where time slows down and every breeze carries the scent of tradition and sustainability.
